Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using KNEKT. By registering for an account or purchasing a subscription you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About KNEKT
KNEKT is a digital business card service operated by:

2. The Service
KNEKT provides subscribers with a personalised digital business card accessible via a unique URL in the format knekt.uk/u/XXXXXX. Each card displays the contact and business information you choose to add and can be shared via QR code, link or NFC.
3. Accounts
3.1 You must be at least 18 years old to register for a KNEKT account.
3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3.3 You must provide accurate and up to date information when registering. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where false information has been provided.
3.4 Each account is for a single individual or business. Sharing your login credentials with others is not permitted unless you are using a Team plan, in which case each team member must have their own separate login.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 KNEKT offers the following subscription plans:
- Premium: £30 for the first year (including setup), then £15 per year
- Team Starter: £99 per year (up to 5 team members)
- Team Business: £199 per year (up to 20 team members)
- Enterprise: £349 per year (unlimited team members)
4.2 All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
4.3 Subscriptions are billed annually and renew automatically on the anniversary of your signup date.
4.4 You will receive reminder emails 30 days and 7 days before your renewal date.
4.5 Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes.
4.6 We reserve the right to change our pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
5.1 You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at privacy@knekt.uk.
5.2 On cancellation your card will remain active until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for unused portions of a subscription period.
5.3 After cancellation your card will be deactivated and your data retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.
5.4 If you cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase and have not made significant use of the service, you may be entitled to a full refund under UK consumer law. Please contact us to request this.
6. Your Card and Content
6.1 You retain ownership of all content you upload to your KNEKT card including photographs, logos and text.
6.2 By uploading content to KNEKT you grant us a limited licence to store and display that content as part of delivering the service.
6.3 You are solely responsible for ensuring the content on your card is accurate, lawful and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
6.4 You must not use KNEKT to display content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, fraudulent or misleading.
6.5 We reserve the right to remove any content that breaches these terms or that we consider harmful, offensive or inappropriate, without prior notice.
7. Card URL
7.1 Each card is assigned a unique URL at the time of account creation. This URL is permanent and cannot be changed.
7.2 Your card URL is public — anyone with the link can view your card. You are responsible for deciding who you share your URL with.
7.3 We do not maintain a public directory of cards. Your card is only discoverable by people you share your URL with.
8. Team Plans
8.1 Team plans allow a designated account administrator to manage multiple team member cards from a single account.
8.2 The account administrator is responsible for ensuring all team members are aware of and comply with these Terms and Conditions.
8.3 When a team member is removed from the account their card is deactivated. Their data is retained for 30 days before deletion.
8.4 The number of team members permitted is determined by your plan tier. Additional members beyond your plan limit require an upgrade.
9. Referral Scheme
9.1 KNEKT operates an optional referral scheme. When someone signs up for a paid plan using your referral link, you receive a one-time credit applied to your account.
9.2 Credit values are: Premium referral £3, Team Starter referral £15, Team Business referral £25, Enterprise referral £50.
9.3 Credits are applied automatically at your next renewal and reduce the amount charged. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or refunded.
9.4 Credits are awarded once per referred user only. If a referred user upgrades their plan or renews, no further credit is awarded.
9.5 We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral scheme at any time with reasonable notice to existing participants.
9.6 Any attempt to abuse the referral scheme including self-referral or fraudulent signups will result in account suspension and forfeiture of credits.
10. Availability
10.1 We aim to provide a reliable and uninterrupted service but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance, hosting issues or circumstances beyond our control may occasionally affect availability.
10.2 We will endeavour to notify subscribers of planned maintenance in advance where possible.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, KNEKT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.
11.2 Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11.3 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 The KNEKT name, logo, website design and underlying software are the intellectual property of KNEKT and may not be copied, reproduced or used without our written permission.
12.2 You must not attempt to reverse engineer, copy or create derivative works based on the KNEKT platform.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of any significant changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
